Yoga Wellness Nutrition

Masha (Mariya) Power is certified at the 200 hr level through Yoga Alliance and completed her teacher training at Yoga Vermont with renowned instructor Kathy McNames in 2012.  Masha brings many years of yoga experience to her teaching. She is a dedicated Ashtanga practitioner and believes that this style is the purest form of yoga, as it encourages concentration through discipline and breathing.  When she isn't teaching yoga, Masha loves cooking and baking! Masha holds a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Vermont and she promotes nutrition though her personal blog. Additionally, Masha conducted doctoral research on the effects of cinnamon extract in type II diabetes.
